To Make a Driver's Licence Plus Appointment

When can you use this online service?

• Monday to Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Sunday, noon to 11:00 p.m.

Note: Any operation completed after 11:00 p.m. will not be recorded.

Who can use this online service?

A Canadian citizen residing in Québec who wants to enter the U.S. by land or sea ports of entry and who holds a valid plasticized driver's licence or probationary licence issued by the SAAQ.

The licence Plus cannot be used to enter the U.S. by air travel.

How long is the appointment and how much does it cost?

• Length: 30 minutes.
• Costs for obtaining this licence.

Necessary documents

Before going to your appointment, you must:

• have read the Applicant's Guide;
• have filled out the Citizenship Questionnaire (without signing it);
• have filled out the Travel Restrictions Questionnaire (without signing it);
• have on hand two pieces of identification, one bearing your photo, as well as a document proving Canadian citizenship (go to the Applicant's Guide). A passport is not accepted as a proof of citizenship.

Note: Due to the limited number of appointment time slots available, you must fill out both questionnaires beforehand, otherwise your appointment may be refused.
