Child Safety Seat Inspection Day
On May 24, from noon to 8 p.m., visit a Canadian Tire store to have your child safety seat inspected or installed free of charge. This event is sponsored by the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec and CAA-Québec, with the cooperation of local police forces.
Do You Plan on Driving a Vehicle in Florida or in Another American State?
Your driver's licence or driver's licence Plus is all you need. You are not required to obtain an international driver's permit. For more security, you can print out and carry with you the English version of the document presenting Québec driver's licences in order to better inform customs officials or police if necessary. The document is also available in French for you.
Second United Nations Global Road Safety Week
The week of May 6 to 12, 2013 is dedicated to pedestrian safety around the world. This event is part of the Global Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety. Québec is marking the event.
