Alcohol and drug-impaired driving
Until January 2, police officers will conduct intensive roadside checks throughout the province to target alcohol and drug-impaired driving. The SAAQ encourages you to be vigilant and to plan alternatives for getting home.

Do you plan on driving a vehicle in Georgia?
The SAAQ has been informed that the State of Georgia requires drivers to hold an international driver's permit when their driver's licence is not in English. To avoid any inconveniences, drivers are advised to obtain an international driver's permit.
Did you know that because of their height and length, snow removal vehicles have many blind spots that can make it difficult for their drivers to see other road users, especially pedestrians? Pedestrians, keep your distance and make sure that the driver sees you.
