To be allowed to drive in Québec, you must hold a valid licence that bears the appropriate class. The licence must also bear endorsements where required.
For instance, it is prohibited to drive when a licence has expired or been revoked. The same goes when it has been revoked or suspended for impaired driving, accumulation of demerit points, excessive speeding, unpaid fine, etc.
Should you risk driving without a valid licence or during a period when your licence was revoked or suspended, you could be fined and have your vehicle seized and impounded.
