Rules for Access to Driving a Motorcycle (Classes 6A, 6B and 6C)
The Learning Period is now 11 Months
SAAQ studies have shown that the learning phase is the period during which accident rates are by far the lowest.
The period during which a person is required to hold a learner's licence to drive a motorcycle, class 6A, has been extended from 7 to 11 months.
A Mandatory 24-Month Probationary Licence for Everyone
Any person who does not hold a class 5 driver's licence is required to hold a probationary motorcycle licence for 24 months.
