Criminal Code Offences

Certain behaviours and actions related to the operation of a road vehicle constitute offences under the Criminal Code. In addition to a driving prohibition, a fine or imprisonment, a conviction for one of these offences results in administrative penalties under the Highway Safety Code, in particular revocation of a driver's licence and suspension of the right to obtain a driver's licence.
