STEP 4: Have an Accident Report Submitted

| N.B.: There is an agreement in place between police forces in Québec and Ontario for automatic submission to the SAAQ of an accident report. | |
| For an accident occurring in Québec, the police report is automatically sent to the SAAQ.
For an accident occurring outside Québec, you must make sure the police report is submitted to the SAAQ. |
The SAAQ will ask the police for the report on an accident occurring outside Québec where the victim or agent has not ensured this has been done. |
