Sight is the most used sense when driving an automobile. Early in their driving “career”, motorists realize how essential rearview mirrors are for locating objects in a vehicle's surroundings.
Field of vision, lighting and recognizing shapes in flat and curved mirrors are also areas of study that can help road users improve their driving skills.

- Forty Student's Manuals
The kit comes with a manual students can use to explore the various optical phenomena involved when operating an automobile. These processes are covered in the Physics 534 study program. The manual also includes practical exercises to assimilate the information that has been learned.
- One Teacher's Guide
The guide suggests a series of approaches to introduce students to optical phenomena, including: stereoscopic vision, light propagation, reflection, lighting, etc. It also suggests topics of enrichment for students who would like to further their knowledge about certain subjects.
One CD-ROM
The CD-ROM is designed to help teachers introduce more complex principles that are difficult to produce in a laboratory. Students can also use the CD-ROM to catch up on course material.
