Penalties

Failure to comply with regulations concerning installation and use of a screen device in a vehicle is an offence that is punishable by a fine of $80 to $100. Other fees may be added to the fine provided under the Highway Safety Code (contribution to the IVAC crime victims compensation program, registry fees, etc.).
