Did you know that head injuries sustained as the result of a road accident are often the most serious? Wearing a helmet that complies with current manufacturing standards and properly securing it can reduce the severity of head injuries and even death in an accident.

According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, motorcycle operators who wear a helmet are three times less likely to sustain a serious head injury than operators without a helmet. According to this agency, wearing a helmet also reduces the risk of death in a motorcycle accident by 37%.

The Protective Helmets Regulation has required drivers and passengers of certain vehicles to wear a helmet that meets current manufacturing standards.
